Student Video Promotes “Being Yourself”

Posted December 2, 2013 by Sandra Kuipers

Hi! My name is Jade and I’m in grade 11. In CTS 20, module 2, I’m studying photography communication. As a part of this module, I chose a topic that is well known to everyone. I created a video to show the effect that media can have on teens.  The media portrays women as being skinny. Teens should just be themselves and not worry about what other people think. With two of my classmates as the models, I took several photos to create a story in a video. The objective of this project was to spread the message to be yourself. This project was really fun to do, and it was nice to see the final outcome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNZdl_yNpEU
