TIS implemented a number of new safety measures at the school this summer. A new door to the Kindergarten hallway was installed and will provide additional security for the first floor classrooms. Also new are safety railings at the side entrance to the school, safety mats on the columns in the MPR, anti-slip mats and stair noses on ground floor stairs leading to the outside and new fire proof doors leading to the rooftop. In addition, a Health, Safety and Wellness committee has been created which will address safety issues and security at the school.
