The Run of Hope is a worldwide charity event founded by Isadore Sharp of The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts to raise funds for cancer research and other related programs. It was inspired by Terry Fox, a courageous young Canadian who was diagnosed with bone cancer and ran across Canada in 1980 to raise funds for cancer research with the goal to one day eradicate cancer.
In Macau, the event is organised by Four Seasons Hotel Macao, partnered with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and our school. This year, the goal is to raise MOP500,000 for Kiang Wu Cancer research and The Evangelize China Fellowship Orphanage in Macau.
To celebrate the tenth year anniversary, Run of Hope Macau have launched a superhero theme. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their favourite superhero costume, where there will be awards for the following categories, to name a few:
• Best dressed superhero adult male
