David Spreadbury, Secondary Principal
There was a lot of buzz in the classrooms and hallways as the first report cards of the year were sent home last Friday. As a school, we see the primary purpose of report cards as an important communication tool between the teachers and home. They are intended to give a snapshot of the student’s progress and performance. While we want the report card to provide as much information as possible to parents, it is impossible to pass on everything in one document. Because of that, we follow up report cards with parent-teacher interviews. The report card serves as a starting point for the conversations about your child and their learning. Please take advantage of the opportunity to come in and sit down with your child’s teacher. Parent-teacher interviews will be held on Thursday, November 21 from 3:30 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, November 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Elementary interviews are arranged with pre-booked times, while secondary interviews are drop in. We look forward to seeing you there.
