Principal Thoughts

Posted September 16, 2013 by Sandra Kuipers

The start of a new school year is something that we all look forward to. Teachers are excited to have the students back, students are happy to be back and parents are enjoying some quiet time.

Of course, with the new school year comes the annual flood of paperwork to be filled out.  The office staff is currently busy ensuring that each student is properly registered with DSEJ.  This is important so that students receive the subventions they are entitled to, the DSEJ insurance, and the eligibility to participate in DSEJ sports and other activities. Registration forms were sent home so that all relevant information could be updated and verified by parents. If you haven’t already done so, please return these forms to the office as soon as possible.  If for some reason the form didn’t make it home, just stop by the office and pick one up.

Many of the sports teams and extracurricular clubs have also all started.  We have a tremendous number of enthusiastic students and coaches involved.  Thank you so much for your continued support of the programs here at TIS.  I know it is going to be a very exciting and busy year.
