Safety Comes First During Morning Drop-off

Posted on January 28, 2016

This morning’s drop-off near the new gate (opposite COD) was very chaotic with many vehicles left unattended. This caused a massive back-up of traffic. Parking is not permitted in this area and vehicles cannot be left unattended.

For the safety of all TIS students, please do not drop off your child in the second lane of traffic; this is extremely dangerous. Please use the Kiss ‘N Ride lane to drop off young children (those requiring help from a parent or helper). It is far less congested in the mornings and parents get on their way much quicker. There is also a covered walkway which leads from the Kiss ‘N Ride drop off point to the school, which provides shelter for little ones on rainy days like today.

We are asking for the cooperation of all TIS parents to help us provide a safe environment for student drop-off and pick-up.
