TIS is honoured to welcome holocaust survivor, Werner Reich as our next guest speaker.
Mr. Reich and his family lived in Berlin, Germany when the Nazi’s came into power in 1933. The family moved to Yugoslavia, which was later occupied by the Nazis in 1941. Two years later, Mr. Reich was arrested by the Gestapo was transported to several concentration camps across Europe. This is his story on how he survived those dark years and life after the War.
Our Grades 10, 11 and 12 students will be attending the event. We would also like to extend the invitation to parents and staff to hear Mr. Reich’s remarkable story.
