TIS teachers and students were the stars of the 5 km event. It was a 1-2-3 sweep in the women’s race with gr. 5 student Margaux Luvisutto capturing 1st place, grade 5 teacher Laura Friesen taking second and gr. 7 teacher Amy Clack winning 3rd place. In the men’s division, SK teacher Nick Chignall ran a personal best to win 2nd place while recent grade 12 grad Justin San Juan took 3rd place. Thank-you to all of the TIS families who participated in the event, the high school students who volunteered on the course, the Middle School Leadership students who ran the kid’s games at the brunch and the Community Outreach Committee for its help organizing volunteers. See you at next year’s Run of Hope!
