The grade 6 classes recently returned from an amazing trip to Guilin, where they participated in a variety of cultural and fun activities. Here’s a summary of what they did:

• went on a bike ride through rice fields
• kayaked down the Li River
• watched cormorant fishing
• visited a local primary school and donated books
• climbed several mountains, including beautiful Moon Hill
• visited a tea plantation and picked tea leaves
• hiked into a  cave that had a mud bath and a hot spring
• visited a noodle factory and did fan painting
• learned kung fu and tai chi
