It was an exciting day yesterday for Grade 6 students as they officially graduated from elementary to middle school. The graduation ceremony began with a slide show highlighting the past year’s activities and special moments. Elementary Principal Vance Boisjoli spoke to the students, congratulating them on a wonderful year and wishing them well in grade 7.  Grade 6 teachers Mr. Poole, Ms. Kuipers and Ms. Johnston, who were emcees for the event, called each student to the stage to receive their certificate. This was followed by the presentation of special awards and a wonderful valedictorian address by Hudson Kloss.  The grade 6 students then took to the stage to sing two songs under the direction of Music Teacher Mr. O’Flaherty.  Congratulations to all of our grade six students on a job well done!
