Despite the disruptions Typhoon Hato has caused, TIS will commence the new school year as originally scheduled.
Here’s a summary of important dates for this and next week:
Wed, Aug 30 | PK/JK Interviews
Grade 4-9 Orientation Day Grade 10-12 First Day of School |
Thurs, Aug 31 | SK-Grade 3 Orientation Day
Grade 4-9 First Day of School |
Fri, Sept 1 | SK-Grade 3 First Day of School |
Mon, Sept 4 | JK First Day of School
PK (90 min) Staggered Entry |
Thurs, Sept 7 | PK Half Day(morning/afternoon) |
Mon, Sept 11 | PK Full Day/Half Day regular classes |
During orientation, parents and students can drop by the school to check class lists, meet their new teachers and see their classrooms. Students are not expected to be at the school for the entire time and we ask that parents accompany their children for orientation.
The drop-off/pick-up system will remain the same as it was in June. The Kiss ‘N Ride lane is between the MUST track and North Wing. We advise parents who have children in PK-Gr.3 to use Kiss ‘N Ride for drop-off and pick-up as it is a safer option for younger students.
We ask that you follow the instructions of the TIS staff members who will be on duty.
We look forward to seeing everyone!
