Chinese New Year is the longest and most important celebration in the Chinese calendar and TIS plans to celebrate with a carnival! We look forward to seeing many parents at the event on Thursday, January 23 in the MPR and outdoor area. Enjoy traditional Chinese activities and food, such as modern and classical Chinese dancing, tea ceremony, shadow puppets, stilt walking, professional craftsman booths, game booths and delicious food booths. The schedule for the day is as follows:
- PK-SK 08:40 – 09:50
- Gr.1-Gr.3 10:00 – 11:20
- Gr.4-Gr.6 12:15 – 13:30
- Gr.7-Gr.12 13:30 – 15:00
Students (and parents!) are encouraged to wear Chinese style clothing (or the school uniform). See you on Thursday!
