This past week was designated as “Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week” for Alberta curriculum schools. To spread the message, the TIS Safe, Caring and Welcoming Committee (SCWC) implemented a number of activities under the theme of “Friendship Week” to raise awareness, prevent bullying and contribute to a safe, caring and welcoming environment for all of our students.

The kindergarten and primary divisions focused on ‘Friendship Week’ which included a variety of in-class activities as well as video presentations in the Div 1 and 2 assemblies, while Div 3 & 4 students discussed scenario-based questions and watched some video clips about bullying.
