Kyle Coughlan, who attended TIS from 2008-2012 (grades 6-9) was recently honoured with a special award from the Singapore Armed Forces.

Following basic military training, Kyle was chosen to attend the Specialist Cadet School where he graduated with the Golden Bayonet. The Golden Bayonet is awarded to the top 10 per cent of all Specialist Cadet trainees. Kyle was the top cadet in the Combat Service Support Command (Transport) and is now a Third Sergeant.  He talks about receiving the honour in this video.
