You couldn’t have asked for better weather for the TIS Walkathon yesterday morning – beautiful sunny skies and a cool breeze. Thanks to the students, teachers and parents from PK-Grade 6 who participated with such enthusiasm! Special thanks to Ms. Lai for coordinating the Kindergarten walkathon; Ms. Phinney and Mr. Chan for working the P.A. system, Ms. Phinney and Ms. Flontek for being amazing MC’s, Ms. Campbell for helping with set-up, the wonderful TISPA ladies for providing oranges and Mr. Stribbell for showing his TIger pride!. All of the money raised at this year’s Walkathon will help to offset the costs of field trips, special educational days and for guest speakers and artists to visit the school.
