The TIS leadership team started off the new school year by participating in a retreat to review the school’s progress and growth.

Together, the TIS admin team and program coordinators identified the school’s strengths and weaknesses and began developing a strategic direction for the next 3-5 years. They spent considerable time looking at how our distinct parts – kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school, and distinct programs – athletics, arts, technology, community outreach, student services and curriculum – all work together to achieve a common goal.

The next steps will be to consult with the larger staff and faculty as well as students, parents and community members.

The development of Phase 2 is the culmination of years of work, however, it also serves as a catalyst for administrators to review and re-envision the school’s direction going forward.

We are very excited about the continuous improvement of our program – the future is bright for TIS and our students!
