TIS students were invited to enter the third “Wynn Cup – Macau Primary School Student National Education Drawing Competition”. There were over 10,000 entries from over 40 schools across Macau. The theme this year was “Looking forward to the Belt & Road Initiative from the perspective of the Greater Bay Area”. The competition aims to cultivate national pride.
Four of our students were amongst those who were recognised for their outstanding artwork in their categories. The award ceremony took place on Friday, 12th April 2019, and was attended by family members of the award winners along with Head of School, Mr. Lockwood, accompanied by Arts Co-ordinator, Ms Smith-Dale, and teachers Mr. Kiat and Mrs. Peade.
The students recognised for their outstanding artwork were:
- Best Use of Technique : James (1-2)
- Best Use of Creativity : Cloris (5-1)
- Outstanding Prizes : Karlos (4-4) & Natalie (4-4)
