The TIS Boarding School on the MUST campus underwent some changes over the summer to maximize available space and make it more functional. There are now a maximum of 3 students per suite (instead of four) and most of the bunk beds have been removed to make way for single beds. The former common room was transformed into a boarding office as well as a suite for the Boarding Director. A new common room for boarders was allocated further down the hall and provides more privacy. It’s equipped with a comfy couch, computers, a TV and video games. In addition, a new student management system was implemented that uses phones and iPads to monitor student performance. There are more upgrades ahead – the laundry room will be renovated over the Christmas holidays and the kitchen will receive a facelift in six months. The TIS Boarding School currently has 28 students (14 girls and 14 boys) from Grades 7-12.
