TIS is embarking on its first-ever Artist in Residence program after the spring break. Australian artist (and TIS parent) Peta Houghton, will be sharing her skills and perspectives with Grade 4-6 students from April 11-21. Specific Canadian, Australian, Chinese and American artists will be used as inspiration for the students.

Each class will create artwork which will be installed throughout the school. As a culminating event, TIS will be hosting a “Gallery Walk” for parents on Monday, April 25 from 3-5 pm  to showcase the student’s creations.
