TIS is thrilled to welcome author Hannah Tunnicliffe, who will be speaking to Grade 1 and 2 students on Monday, March 13 from 10-11 am in the Black Box Theatre. Ms Tunnicliffe is in our city for the Macau Literary Festival and is one of many authors visiting local schools and universities.
Ms Tunnicliffe is from New Zealand and is the author of three novels, including The Colour of Tea, which is set in Macau and written while she was living in the city. It was a bestseller in Canada and was translated into six languages. She has also written a trilingual children’s book, Marjory and the Mouse, which tells the story of the Cradle of Hope Orphanage in Macau and is a charitable project to raise funds for the orphanage. She is the founder and co-author of the blog Fork and Fiction.
