Scarlett and William Tong Represent Macao With Pride At AYG

Posted August 28, 2013 by Sandra Kuipers

Congratulations to the brother and sister team of Scarlet and William Tong who rocked the stage at the opening ceremony of the 2013 Asian Youth Games (AYG) in Nanjing on August 16. Scarlet, a Grade 11 student at TIS and William, a former TIS student now studying in Britain, represented Macao as they performed the theme song for the Asian Youth Games “Let Dreams Fly” with famous Taiwan musician and singer Huang Kuo Lun. The song was part of a 40 minute cultural show which involved hundreds of artists performing on stage at the 18,000 seat Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium. More than 3,600 athletes from 45 countries  competed in the Asian Youth Games from August 16-24.
