Maldives (Diving Focus)
Tour provider: Fulidhoodive
Live with the locals on beautiful Fulidhoo Island and experience some of world’s top diving! Participants in this programme will work towards getting 2 certifications from the Professional Association of Dive Instructor (PADI): *open water and Project Aware Coral Reef Conservation certificate. Service experiences will involve working with local school children to clean up the island’s beautiful beaches and working together to plant gardens and “upcycling” plastic water bottles into sellable goods.
*If students already have their Open Water certification, they will be expected to do their Advanced Open Water during the trip.
Proposed Itinerary
Day 1
Travel from Macau to Male
Transfer by speedboat to Fulidhoo Island (1.5 hours)
Evening activities
Day 2-6
–Students work towards gaining their Open Water or Advanced Open Water certification in addition to the Coral Reef Conservation certificate
-Ongoing service project with local school children cleaning beaches, planting gardens and transforming plastic bottles into sellable goods.
–Programme also includes 2 addition fun dives and use of top diving equipment
-Daily reflections on the days activities

Travel back to Male and back to Macau
