It was a 2 week process to get as many of the 1400 students, teachers and staff as possible in order to create this 8m mural. Teachers signed up their classes and then the fun began! Painting hands, big and tiny, and then placing them on the 8m mural was a feat in itself. At the same time trying to organize the handprints to balance colour and direction for a pleasing composition was a challenge. Lots of giggles as the very cold paint was rolled over the right-hand palms of all who came. 17 colours were used to create this one-of-a-kind work of Art for TIS.
