Miss Nelson is Missing!

Posted December 6, 2016 by Shevon Wilson
Director’s Notes
While deciding on the play I was surprised to see Miss Nelson is Missing! in the list of titles. Like most, I remember the very short children’s book but couldn’t really picture it as a full length play. The simplicity of the humour paired with the cleverly timed lines and the uniqueness of the characters gave the cast ample opportunities to add their own twist of comedy to the play. This talented group of cast and crew has made my first production at TIS an absolute joy to work on and I’m incredibly proud of all the work they’ve put in to this show. Thank you to the staff at TIS who have offered up their class equipment for the set and who have worked on scheduling to allow the students to be involved in multiple extra-curricular activities this semester. Enjoy the show!                                   – Mr. Devon Dafoe
