Art Galore

Halloween Art from Kindergarten to Gr 6!
Lots of spooky Art can be done to the theme of Halloween. Fine motor skills in drawing and cutting are needed for these artistic works. Students had fun with it and the results are spooktacular!

Portraiture:
From Kindergarten to Grade 6 and beyond students enjoy drawing their own faces. The skill incorporates observation skills, fine motor skills, analysis and creativity.

Sculptures!
Working in 3D is a totally different experience for students. The conceptualization and construction are very different skills from working in 2D. Students from Kindergarten to Senior High School all engage in 3D work and all results are amazing!

It’s All About the Colours!
Learning colours starts in Kindergarten and students continue to add more complexity as they progress in their grades. Primary, Secondary and Tertiary colour mixing with Tints and Shades therein is what our students are learning. Warm colours, cool colours and the Colour Wheel are all wonderful ways to explore this exciting aspect of Art.
