The most successful schools enjoy strong parental involvement and support. Children like to know that their parents care about what they are learning and that they are willing to help the school achieve its goals.
TIS has an active parent association (TISPA) that works closely with staff to support school programs. All parents are encouraged to work with TIS by assisting in classroom, in the library and by serving on committees.
If you are interested in volunteering in the classroom, please contact the classroom teacher. If you volunteer on a regular basis, a special volunteer badge can be obtained at the security counter.
