Board of Governors

TIS is led by a highly skilled and experienced faculty. The Board of Governors and the administration work closely to ensure that the overall structure and day to day operations are efficient and harmonious.

 

John Crawford

Chairman

"We strive to provide an education that is exciting for students, challenging them with issues and ideas that they find both interesting and intellectually demanding."

John was a founding partner of the accounting firm of Ernst & Young and Vice Chairman of the firm until he retired in 1997. Mr. Crawford has an extensive record of public service. He is a Justice of the Peace, a founding member of UNICEF Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and was formerly Co-Chairman of the Canadian International School of Hong Kong.

 

Neil Johnston

Governor

“Our staff aim to ensure the optimal development of each child's potential and to instill the joys of ‘lifelong learning' in every student.”

Neil has almost fifty years of experience in education in Canada, Europe and Hong Kong where he served as a teacher, university lecturer, principal and superintendent. Neil was formerly the Principal of the Canadian International School of Hong Kong.

 

Peter Lam

Governor

“Chinese has become an important international language. TIS and its curriculum leads students into Chinese language and culture”

Peter Lam Kam Seng, President of New City Investment and Construction Co. Ltd. is a prominent businessman and community leader. In addition to his trading and construction business, he is a Member of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Macau Chamber of Commerce and is Chairman of the Board of the World Trade Centre in Macao.

 

Dr. K.L. Tong

Governor
K.L Tong is a certified public accountant with more than fifteen years of experience in establishing and managing universities. At present, he is the Financial Controller of the Macau University of Science and Technology
